Why adjust brightness and filters without uploading the photo?

Brightness, contrast, saturation and filter previews update instantly because NearIMG renders every change on your device as you move the sliders — nothing is sent anywhere to generate the preview. The original file on your device is left untouched; only the file you download reflects the adjustment.

How it works

  1. Add photos — a batch shares one set of adjustments.
  2. Drag the brightness, contrast and saturation sliders (0–200%, 100% = unchanged) and optionally pick a grayscale, sepia or invert filter. Thumbnails preview everything live.
  3. Click Save. The same adjustments are rendered into every image on your device and the results download.

Sliders and filter presets stack — grayscale plus a contrast boost is the classic punchy black-and-white, sepia over slightly lowered saturation reads as a softer vintage tone. One thing to watch: pushing brightness or contrast to the extremes clips highlights or shadows in the saved file, and clipped detail can't be recovered later. Your original is never modified, so you can always come back to it and re-export.

Are the adjustments non-destructive?

They apply when you download; the original file on your device is never changed.

Can I apply a filter to many images?

Yes — the same brightness, contrast and filter apply to every image in the batch.

What do the percentage values mean?

100% means unchanged. Below 100% darkens (brightness), flattens (contrast) or mutes (saturation); above 100% pushes the other way, up to 200%. Setting saturation to 0% is another way to get pure grayscale.
