Why flip images locally instead of through an upload-based tool?
Mirroring a photo left-right or top-bottom is a one-step fix for a scan that came in backwards or a selfie that needs un-mirroring — not something that needs a server involved. NearIMG flips the image using your browser's own canvas, so the file never leaves your device to be turned around.
How it works

- Click Save to write the mirrored pixels and download the result.
The two toggles combine: horizontal plus vertical together equals a 180° rotation. The most common real use is un-mirroring — front-camera selfies and some scans come out left-right reversed, and a horizontal flip makes any text in them readable again. The flip itself moves pixels without inventing new ones; just note that saving a lossy format like JPG still involves a re-encode, while PNG round-trips losslessly.
What's the difference between flip and rotate?

Can I flip just one image out of a batch?
